18.05.25 SYDNEY - Film Photography with Knox Bertie & Sarah Pannell

Leica Akademie Australia is pleased to announce an immersive film photography workshop by photographers Knox Bertie and Sarah Pannell.

The 2 session workshop run over 2 Sundays will explore the art of both colour and black-and-white film photography. Participants will have the unique opportunity to shoot their own roll of film, which will be expertly processed by the leading film lab, Hillvale. The next week, you'll review your developed photos, gain invaluable insights, and refine your techniques under the guidance of Knox and Sarah. 

Participants will need to bring their own camera and users of any brand are welcome.

The workshop will be supported by the Melbourne film processing lab Hillvale and participants will be given a complimentary roll of film to shoot on the day, as well as a film processing voucher.

This workshop is perfect for enthusiasts looking to deepen their understanding of film photography.

Sarah Pannell is a freelance photographer and artist from Melbourne (Naarm), Australia, whose visual style hinges on everyday moments. 

Since a young age, Sarah has drawn her energy and creativity from the world around her through close observation; endlessly fascinated by human’s ever-evolving dance with their surrounding environments. She’s exhibited work in Australia and internationally and published her monograph Tabriz to Shiraz through Perimeter Books + Hillvale.
