01.03.25 MELBOURNE - Streets of Melbourne with Jesse Marlow

Date: Saturday 1st March & Sunday 2nd March.

Duration: 2 days

Level: Suitable for all levels of photography enthusiasts

Equipment: Bring your camera and laptop/iPad for editing.

Day 1: Saturday 1st March, 10.00am – 6.00pm

The workshop will commence at the Leica Store and Gallery with a short presentation by Jesse showing his work and discussing his approach to street photography. Tips on how to overcome potential fears of shooting in public, confidence, body language and expectations. After lunch (included) the small group will head out into the surrounding areas to ‘pound the streets’ looking for interesting and quirky images. Jesse will spend time with each guest throughout the day, helping you refine your craft and boost your confidence on the street.

Day 2: Sunday 2nd March, 9:00am – 5:00pm

Day 2 will include a morning session of shooting with Jesse exploring the colour, light and people in and around the streets followed by lunch (included).
In the afternoon, there will be a group editing session back in the classroom with comments and critique. Participants should bring their own laptop for editing.
