New Zealand in the autumn is an amazing place, and Queenstown must head the list of must-see places on South Island. Surrounded by jagged mountains, Queenstown is a wonderful base from which to explore the surrounding countryside with excellent restaurants and top class hotels.
This workshop is hosted by photographers Nick Rains and Stu Robertson who will be with you for four full days of shooting activities during which time you will be taken to some carefully selected spots which lend themselves to getting great images. We will be shooting classic landscapes in, amongst other places, Skippers Canyon, along the Kawarau River and up the Nevis Valley, Stu will take you around Queenstown looking for interesting street images, we have scenic flights in a helicopter arranged and both Nick and Stu will be presenting lectures on different aspects of their own photography.
It’s not all photography either – Stu and Nick will also take you to some of Queenstowns famous restaurants where you can enjoy local wines and excellent food. Accommodation is at the excellent Novotel, Queenstown, which is conveniently placed for both eating out and for exploring the centre of Queenstown.
