Event Overview

Knox Bertie’s highly distinctive style and unique way of seeing the world was showcased recently for the launch of the Leica Q2 Monochrom. In this workshop Knox will discuss many of the motivations that influence his work as well as the nuts and bolts of his photography technique. The workshop will consist of both theory/inspiration and practical shooting exercises.

  • What are you working on today?
  • Setting up your camera to shoot quickly
  • Applying old tricks to new cameras
  • Seeing and using light outdoors
  • Getting it right in-camera

The day will commence at 10.00am at the Leica Store & Gallery Sydney, and will conclude in the late afternoon at around 5.00pm. Lunch, as always, is included. If you would like to borrow a Leica camera or lens please email us and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Event Details

When: 5 December 2021,  10.00am – 5.00pm.

Where: Leica Store Sydney. Queen Victoria Building

Equipment: Please bring a camera with something like a mid-range zoom (24-90mm), the Leica Q and Q2 are perfect, as is the M10-R but any camera will be fine. Please also bring a laptop or iPad for image evaluation later in the day. If you’d like to borrow a Leica to use during the workshop please ask.
