Fashion Photography – Sketch to Billboard
Join Leica Akademie Australia as we introduce you to the world of fashion and glamour photography with fashion photographer Darren Centofanti.
Going beyond simply talking about the theories behind a successful fashion image, this workshop will allow you to learn first-hand what it takes to conceptualize, style and connect with a model to create images that are uniquely your own.
The quirky and stylish QT Hotel in Sydney will provide the perfect setting for this real-world vintage glamour fashion assignment with Darren Centofanti.
This six hour shooting-intensive workshop is designed for creative photographers interested in stretching their imagination and provides the perfect setting to push yourself creatively in a location that inspires you to immerse yourself in the creative process.
August 5th, 2017
This workshop will begin at the Leica Store Sydney at 9:00am with an introduction to fashion photography fundamentals. Darren will share his creative process as to how he makes his images – from conceptualisation, building sets, styling, use of props, interacting with models, to executing his ideas in front of the camera and in post-production. The small group will then head over to QT Sydney where a retro inspired lounge is exclusively reserved. You will begin conceptualising your individual shoot by sketching out the creative elements and then begin working with the model to achieve your concept. A delicious lunch will be provided, giving you the opportunity to socialise and get to know Darren and other attendees.
