Join specialist portrait photographer Mark Strachan at his newly renovated studio space in Geelong for a day of available light photography. Working with a model you will work both indoors and outdoors using nothing but the light that you find. Part of the skill involved in this kind of work is choosing good backgrounds and positioning the model so that the light falls ‘just so’. Mark will lead you through this process step by step and leave you with the skills to shoot your own high quality portraits no matter where you are.
Using Leica cameras is not a requirement for any Akademie workshop but Mark uses the Leica SL for his work and will be using this camera for his demonstrations.
Where: 13/35 Mackey Street, Geelong.
When: March 19th 2017. 11.00am – 6.00pm (approx). Lunch is included.
