Event Overview

Kristian Dowling will be demonstrating how to ‘see light’ in an urban/industrial environment – namely the Chadstone Shopping Mall. Being able to judge available lighting quality is a very useful skill to develop and Kristian will be using methods related to those from his previous Low Light workshops.

The workshop will commence at 0900 at the Leica Store in Chadstone Mall with a presentation by Kristian. Then the small group will head out with a model subject to look for that elusive combination of good subject light combined with suitable backgrounds – that’s the key to successful available light photos. After two hours the group will return to the store for an image review after which a good lunch is provided to round off the event.
