Join us for a day of available light photography and portraiture amongst the old naval shipyards on Cockatoo Island in the middle of Sydney Harbour.
During the day your instructor Bill Green will guide you through some of the techniques brought into play when photographing people and places using available light.
Using reflectors and natural lighting we will search out the ‘best light’ and make photographs taking advantage of the huge variety of locations available on the island. Utilising open shade, back light, side light and front lighting everybody will get the chance to shoot their own photographs under Bill’s expert guidance.
A professional model will be available to photograph on the day and lunch at Societe Overboard Cafe is included. If you’d like to loan a Leica camera and/or lens for the day please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate you.
