Jesse Marlow is a specialist street photographer with an exceptional eye for the quirky and bizarre. Join him for two day workshop out on the streets around the street of historic Fremantle where he will share the finer details of his working methods in a small group environment.
The first session will begin in the classroom where Jesse will show you his work and explain how he creates such interesting images. Then, after the included lunch, you will go out and put into practice the methods and thought processes that you have learned.
The second day will be spent shooting in the morning followed by lunch and then one-on-one 20 minute portfolio reviews in the afternoon. As always we will have a selection of Leica equipment on hand for you to try out.
Who is this for: anyone who would like to transcend the mechanics of camera operation and develop their ‘seeing eye’. Street photography is all about awareness and anticipation – judging when and where to be as events unfold around you. For some this is the ultimate photography challenge.
When: April 22-23 2017. Saturday 10.30. Sunday 10.30. Lunches are included.
Where: Natural Light Gallery Cafe, 3 Pakenham Street, Fremantle.
